Choosing well
A built-in hob drops into a cutout in the counter, and granite does not forgive a second attempt. Take the cutout dimensions from the model you have actually chosen, not from a generic figure, and give them to your fabricator before the stone is templated.
Brass holds flame shape and survives repeated thermal cycling better than aluminium alloy, which matters in a kitchen where a burner runs hard twice a day. It costs more. On a hob that will be in use for fifteen years it is usually the cheaper decision.
A four-burner hob with all four the same size is close to useless if you cook in a large uruli or a pressure cooker alongside a small pan. Look for one high-output burner and at least one small one, and check the pan support spacing against the vessels you own.
It cuts the gas if the flame goes out, which in a household with children or with a habit of leaving something on a low simmer is a genuinely useful safety feature rather than a spec-sheet line.
Asked at the counter
Yes, but the counter has to be cut and the gas line repositioned, so it is work for your carpenter and plumber rather than a swap you do yourself. Bring your counter dimensions to the counter and we will tell you what is possible.
No. We supply the hob and the specification. The cutout and gas connection are done by your fabricator and plumber.
Two counters in Trivandrum
Everything we sell is a mechanism. A runner either glides at full extension under load or it does not, and no photograph will tell you which. Both counters have the range on working display boards.

The Technopark-side counter, first floor of the Thunduvilakam building opposite Kazhakuttam police station. Closer if you are building anywhere from Sreekaryam out to Kariavattom, Attingal or Technocity.
